Can a Satire of ISIS Possibly Be Funny? BBC Viewers Are Split

“The Real Housewives of ISIS,” a sketch that debuted this week on the BBC Two satirical show “Revolting,” attracted millions of views on social media. But it left viewers divided over whether a dark send up of the Islamic State, one of the world’s most fearsome terrorist networks, was appropriate, much less funny — no matter what its creators intended.

In my opinion, this show is completely fine because ISIS want to be taken seriously and evoke fear amongst people but comedy denies that and it bring them down and doesn't give them the attention that they're craving.
